BLUE HAWK was established to ensure the survival and growth of the independent HVAC/R distributor. The existence of BLUE HAWK allows independent businesses to use their combined purchasing power to attain competitive pricing for the goods and services they use. At a time when the relentless expansion of manufacturer-owned distributor networks and large corporation-owned distributor chains is intensifying, independently owned operations have turned to BLUE HAWK to help level the playing field with these large competitors.

BLUE HAWK was formed because five family-owned businesses believed that independent businesses have an important place in America. Independent businesses need to be preserved and protected. This group believed  in the strength of community and decided to launch a member-owned cooperative to help bind independents together.

Since the beginning, BLUE HAWK  has had explosive growth and is now the largest wholesaler entity in the HVAC/R industry.  Today, we have more than 200 Member companies with over 1,700 locations, 12,000 employees, and $8 billion in sales.

BLUE HAWK sets itself apart by being 100% financially transparent. Not only does BLUE HAWK return 100% of the co-op’s new earnings, but we are also genuinely transparent about all rebates, terms and conditions, and overhead expenses.  We give our Members fully audited financial statement, not just a quarterly rebate report.  There is no hidden agenda or undisclosed costs at BLUE HAWK.
